I don't often to get to work in a studio but when I do, I love going over to the Studio Hampton Roads in Virginia Beach! It's a beautiful home decorated with tons of great decor and furniture, perfect for any occasion. Including cake smashes!
Samantha contacted me for Devairr's first birthday photos and wanted to add in some cake photos themed for his favorite characters - the minions! But having a birthday in the winter can really limit where a session is held as it's often much too cold to be outside for a longer length of time. So a studio is the perfect answer! I reserved the space and she brought the cutest decor and outfits (peep her minion socks!). And sweet memories ensued. There was so much laughter and joy from little Devairr as he played and snuggled with his momma. Then he tore into his cake in no time!
