First Landing State Park

in Virginia Beach is one of my absolute favorites to go to! It's the perfect mix of beach and woods, and isn't so overcrowded that you're fighting for the perfect photo spot. The park makes a great option if you're wanting beautiful, timeless photos

So I was definitely excited when Daniel & Lana said yes to this location! They were visiting the area and had just enough time to squeeze in this beautiful maternity session before heading home

Her pink velvet dress

was the perfect choice! It photographed so well in the setting sunlight. Plus, they'll be welcoming a little girl into the world soon so pink was such a cute hint!
