are some of my favorites! If you've looked through my site, you'll see a page dedicated to my out of the box sessions. These are projects that I've wanted to try or someone has come to me to help create their unique vision. When I saw rain in the forecast, I realized how fun it'd be to do a rainy day couple's session! Love always triumphs, rain or shine, and I knew it'd be so fun to create a story around that premise.

I was ecstatic when Nicole and Alex said they'd be happy to make this vision a reality, and even brought their own amazing ideas to the table! They're an amazing couple and I couldn't have imagined a better duo for this!

But of course - Virginia weather.

It POURED the day we had set for our session - which was perfect! But by the start of our session -

IT STOPPED RAINING COMPLETELY.

It's ok! We got some stunning photos anyway, and we're even more excited for when we can make this idea come to life!

Colonial Williamsburg

is definitely one of my absolute favorite places to photograph. Beautiful buildings, gorgeous gardens, and wide open streets make this area perfect for almost every single occasion. It's also where my husband and I had our engagement sessions done so I may be a little biased!
