When to have your newborn session?
It's a very common question! Most often, I recommend having your newborn session within 10 days of birth. Why? Most babies at this point are at their sleepiest, and most cooperative with photos. BUT! That's not to say you HAVE to do it that way! Especially with lifestyle newborn sessions.
With lifestyle newborn sessions, we focus on the relationship between you and your newest bundle of joy. It's all about the toe kisses, the nose touches, the finger grabs, the cuddles. So you can do that at any time when they are small!

Where to have the session?
I always do lifestyle newborn sessions in the client's home. This is the most comfortable place for mom and baby to be. Plus, it makes it easy to change, to feed, and to calm baby down in case they get fussy!
Also, it just adds so much sweetness to the photos having them done where your baby will be raised and loved the most.
